Westminster's FIRST Robotics Team Excels at Regional Competition
The Cyborg Cats advance to FIRST Championship competition.
Westminster Christian Academy’s FIRST Robotics Team, the Cyborg Cats-Team 4256, won the final match at the recent FIRST Robotics Queen City Regionals competition in Cincinnati, Ohio. The team will now advance to the World Championship competition.
Westminster’s team allied with teams from Rochester, Michigan, and Carmel, Indiana, to claim the victory at the final regionals match, forging ahead with 177 points. During the competition, students worked diligently under pressure to troubleshoot code, launch new code, and implement strategies for earning points.
The Cyborg Cats will compete at the FIRST Championship event in St. Louis, April 27-30.
