You Could Soon Pay Tickets Online in Town and Country
The city is considering a system that would allow people pay fees online, including tickets and court costs.

The City of Town and Country could soon accept payments of fees for traffic tickets, court costs and other related matters online.
The matter will likely be before aldermen for a vote this month.

City Financial Director Betty Cotner tells Patch, many other cities use an online system like this and said it would help the city collect more fees by making it easier for people to pay tickets.
"Our court clerk is familiar with the sytem and is happy with it," Cotner recently told aldemen. "It costs us nothing. We get 100 percent of our charges."

Aldermen could vote on entering into an agreement with TrafficPayment.com at the May 13 board of aldermen meeting.
No word yet on when the online service would be available if approved by aldermen.
