All Olivette Garage Sale and Electronics Recycling

WHAT: City of Olivette Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a garage sale and electronic recycling event.

WHEN: Saturday, May 16, 2015
Garage Sale: 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Electronic Recycling: 2 – 5 p.m.

WHERE:Garage sale is throughout the city of Olivette. Electronic recycling will be held at Stacy Park.
WHO: Open to the entire community

More than 50 homes will be participating in this year’s “All Olivette Garage Sale”, maps will be handed out at Stacy Park starting at 8:30 a.m., rain or shine, and will also be posted online at www.olivettemo.com. The electronics recycling will be held at Stacy Park. Anything that uses a cord or battery will be accepted*, however some TVs require a disposal fee.** Acceptable items include but are not limited to: Computers, Printers, Keyboards, Laptops, Hard Drives, Monitors, Cell Phones, Pagers, Radios, Scanners, Speakers, VCR, DVD, Fax Machines, Answering Machines, TVs, Stereos, Furnaces, Water Heaters, Air Conditioners, Microwaves, Power Tools, Kitchen Appliances, Lawn and Garden Equipment***, etc.

*Items not accepted: Smoke Detectors, Glass Lamps, Light Bulbs, Fluorescent Tubes, Alkaline Batteries, VHS Tapes.

** $20: CRT/DLP televisions up to 27”
$40: Any size over 27” and any size console television

*** Lawn and Garden equipment must have oil and gas removed
