Patients at the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine will receive a helping hand thanks to a contribution from the Cancer Care Foundation.
The local nonprofit, which raises money through the annual Steinberg Winter Classic hockey tournament, recently donated $40,000 for Siteman patients who need assistance with treatment-related expenses.
“The Siteman Cancer Center is thankful for these funds, which help patients concentrate
less on finances and more on improving their health and overall well-being,” says Timothy Eberlein, MD, Siteman director.
