MERS/Goodwill Offers Spook-tacular Halloween Costumes

Ghosts and goblins are scary enough, but the price tag on a costume from a specialty Halloween shop, may be the scariest thing about this ghoulish holiday. Luckily, MERS/Goodwill offers a variety of cost-conscious options for this year’s shoppers to build unique and fun costumes for the whole family. To spark ideas for shoppers in the 2012 season, MERS/Goodwill has chosen its top five costume ideas for which all items can be found at one of their stores.

“No matter what you want to be, Goodwill has the clothing and accessories for a creative, one-of-a-kind costume,” said Dr. Lewis Chartock, President and CEO of MERS/Goodwill. “Donate last year’s costume to give it new life, and stop in to one of our stores to find a fresh costume for this Halloween.”

MERS/Goodwill’s top picks for this Halloween include a mix of the classic disguises, along with a few of this year’s most popular get-ups. All clothing items can be found at any of MERS/Goodwill’s 40 retail locations in the bi-state area. New accessories such as trick-or-treat buckets, witches’ brooms, pitch forks, masks, wigs and makeup are available in metro area stores.
