
The man who taught the world's first environmental ethics course and a consultant for Fortune 500 companies are just two of the national experts to be featured at "Religious Experience in Global Society," the annual Westminster Symposium to be hed at Westminster College in Fulton,MO, Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 18-19.
Dr.J. Baird Calicott, author of the Encyclopedia of Environmental Ethics and Philosophy, and Dr. David Shaner,who has consulted for high profile companies such as Frito-Lay,Gillette, Duracell and Bic Pens, are two of the latest in a long line of distinguished speakers to come to Westminster.
"This Symposium will explore the ways religion impacts our world today in areas such as business, science and the environment," says Dr.Kurt Jefferson,Coordinator for the Symposium and Director of the Center forEngaging the World at Westminster College.

Presented by The Churchill Institute and now in its 7th year, the Westminster Symposium brings the entire Westminster community of faculty, staff and students together for two days tolearn about one subject of global concern from lectures, panel discussions and presentations given by noted experts on the subject from all over the world.
All presentations are free and open to the public.
