A public hearing for the Draft University City Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013, during the City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. The draft document is available for review at the University City library and the City Clerk's office at City Hall. The draft Plan is also available online at www.ucitymo.org (in the News and Announcements section)
The Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan provides recommendations and design options to promote equity in mobility for all University City residents, regardless of their age, income, or ability. It aims to make University City a walk-able and bike-able city by creating a community with universal accessibility and transportation alternatives that enable residents to walk and bike to their destinations, school, work, shopping, recreation and play.
