Ashley Martin Joins Legal Services of Eastern Missouri hires new Staff Attorney
New Staff Attorney in The Immigration Law Program

Ashley Martin of University City,Β has joined Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM) as a Staff Attorney in the Immigration Law Program (ILP).
Before joining LSEM, Martin interned at the Southern Poverty Law Center, Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation, Legal Aid of Arkansas and as a volunteer at a transitional living facility serving unaccompanied refugee minors. She also interned with the US Attorneyβs Office for the Southern District of Illinois.
Martin has a BA in psychology from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi and holds a joint JD/MSW degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She lives in University City, Missouri.

LSEMβs Immigration Law Program provides holistic civil legal expertise free of charge to low-income immigrants, refugees and their families who are lawfully present in the United States and reside in eastern Missouri as well as certain immigrant victims of human trafficking or domestic violence.
Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM) has provided high quality legal assistance in civil cases to the low-income community for more than 50 years. In 2014, LSEM helped more than 16,000 people (including clients and their household members) in 21 counties of eastern Missouri.
