Board Room Seeks to Recognize Classroom
Parents and community members in University City are being asked to nominate their favorite educator for a $1000 award.
Do you know a teacher, coach, librarian or counselor who deserves special recognition? If so, Peabody Energy wants to hear from you.
The coal company is accepting nominations for its Leaders in Education program. Winners will receive a $1,000 grant and be considered for a final Educator of the Year honor and a $5,000 award.

Award recipients are selected throughout the school year by a committee of top educators and business leaders, according to a Peabody press release.
