One day retreat practising meditation with the Right View. This one day retreat will be useful for practitioners from beginning to advanced. Students will learn many unique meditative methods which isolate various components of a proper meditative practice so that one may use the right concentration to gain insight into Mind and the practice of Chan. Gilbert Gutierrez, an attorney practicing in Riverside, California, began his meditation practice over 30 years ago. Gilbert received Dharma transmission in June 2002 from Master Sheng Yen. He is the only American to have received Dharma Heir status in the Dharma Drum lineage of Chan Buddhism, under Chan (Zen) Master Sheng-Yen.
