City Council Approves Habitat Contract, Liquor License

A short agenda made for a short meeting.

In a 16-minute meeting Monday night, the City Council okayed a liquor license, approved two bills and swore in a new commission member.

The City Council unanimously approved a liquor license for Northstar Imports LLC, located at 924 N. McKnight. The business is approved for liquor sales of all kinds, excluding Sunday sales.

The council approved bills 9154 and 9155 by a vote of 5-0. Councilmen Stephen Kraft and Byron Price were not at the meeting.

Bill 9154 is a final plat for a minor subdivision at 7229 Forsyth.

Bill 9155 is a measure approving a partnership with Habitat for Humanity for St. Louis (HFHSL) for the redevelopment of five vacant lots in the City’s northeast area – the “Bartmer and Crest Redevelopment Area."
