Angelus: Sacred Music for Women's Voices

Comprised of six young women from Mt. Vernon Senior High School Fine Arts Academy (Mt. Vernon, IN), Angelus is dedicated to the performance of sacred music of varied religious traditions and historical periods. Angelus' repertoire includes works of medieval chant and polyphony, the American Sacred Harp tradition as well as contemporary Irish and American works. Performance credits include the Cathedral Basilica St. Louis, Grace Cathedral (San Francisco), the Evansville Philharmonic, St. Mary the Virgin (New York) and Monastery Immaculate Conception (Ferdinand, IN).

The concert is free and a free will offering will be accepted.
