Hosted by the Financial Planning Association of Greater St. Louis and the St. Louis Agency of Training and Employment (SLATE) the workshop "Budgeting 101" is being offered to coincide with the annual national financial education campaign Financial Planning Day which occurs each October.
Financial Planning Day is a national initiative to offer free financial advice to the local community.
The workshop will be held on Thursday October 25th 2012 2:00 to 4:00 at St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) 4811 Delmar Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63108 in the Nathaniel "Nat" J. Rivers State Office Building and will feature experts from the Financial Planning Association, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professionals, all volunteering their time and expertise to educate local residents about developing and maintaining a budget. Tools will be distributed to help attendees implement a monthly spending plan.
