The next Movies in the Park/Food Truck event will be held on October 1, 2011 in Heman Park. The movie is "E.T.-The Extra-Terrestrial". The movie will begin at 7pm, with food trucks serving at 5:00pm. Heman Park can be accessed from Midland Blvd, off of Olive.
The evening event also will include at least three food trucks on-site to provide convenient dinner options for moviegoers. Participating food vendors include Street Life Food (which sells burgers & fries, egg rolls, burritos, chicken wings, spaghetti and seafood), Shell’s Coastal Cuisine (which sells a variety of ‘floribbean’ foods including a Key West shrimp melt, a Cuban pork sandwich and Key Lime pie) and Speedway Eatery (which sells a variety of foods including funnel cakes).
Concessions for the event will be sold by the Barbara Jordan Elementary School PTO.
