Taste of Clayton

The date for the eighteenth Taste of Clayton food festival is set for Sunday, June 3. From 1 to 8:30 p.m., guests will enjoy samplings from fifteen of Clayton’s award winning restaurants for $7 or less per taste. Each restaurant will offer a special $2 tasting.

 

The location of the Taste has changed from Shaw Park to downtown Clayton on Brentwood Boulevard between Forsyth and Maryland.

Festivities will include live entertainment throughout the day by local St. Louis entertainers DJ Crucial, American Idle and Griffin & the Gargoyles. From 2 to 7:30 p.m., First National Bank will sponsor Taste Jr., the everything-for-kids area, featuring kid’s cuisine, balloon artists and fun activities like face painting and a circus workshop.

“There is no admission fee,” said Clayton’s Event Specialist Janet LeMay. “We are looking forward to a great crowd this year.”

 

Operation Food Search will collect canned goods. With a donation of five canned goods or $5 for one ticket, 10 canned goods or $10 for three or 20 canned goods or $20 for eight tickets, a guest can enter to win fabulous prizes including, Apple IPAD, 4G, WIFI, 32 GB, Toshiba 32” LED Television, Apple IPod Touch, 8 GB, dinner for 4 at Chipotle, dinner for 2 at Chipoltle.
