About UCEF
Since it was founded 14 years ago, UCEF has provided more than $100,000 in grants to teachers and principals of University City public schools. All funds raised by UCEF go toward grants that stimulate opportunities to enhance student learning such as after school physical fitness activities, reading programs and the visual and performing arts in the schools.Β
The University City Education Foundation (UCEF) is an agent for excellence in the University City public schools, stimulating innovative, exciting approaches to education, with measurable results, that can be broadly applied. UCEF will accomplish this by raising and distributing private funds, engaging the community in school issues and collaborating closely at each step with our public schools.
2010-11 University City Education Foundation Board includes Kishsa Robinson, President; Pat Frederiksen, Secretary; Victor Pichon, Treasurer; Tony Taylor, Member-At-Large; Cindy Thierry, Progressive Dinner Chair; along with Kim Deitzler, Rory Ellinger, Rodney Jennings Sr., Beth Martin, Meg McClelland, Barbara Santoro, Kristin Sobotka and Holly Tasker.
