Fall Bulk Item Collection Starts Sept. 12 in University City

University City holds a citywide bulk item collection twice a year, during the spring and fall.

University City will begin its fall bulk item collection next month, starting on September 12 for neighborhoods in central U City.

The bulk item pick-up follows the same areas as the bulk leaf collections. Click here for a map to help locate your area. Or call 314-505-8560 for assistance locating your area.

  1. Place no more than 3 large items or 7 smaller items within one to three feet of the curb or street pavement for collection.
  2. Place items curbside by Sunday night of collection week. 
  3. Be sure that access to items is not blocked by parked vehicles.
  4. Wrap glass doors, tables, windows, and mirrors with cardboard.
  5. Remove freon from refrigerators and air conditioners.
