First Bank Announces Promotion In St. Louis Area
Patricia Sanders promoted to Vice President, Strategic Initiative Leader

Patricia Sanders of University City, has been promoted to Vice President, Strategic Initiative Leader for First Bank.
In this role, Sanders will help plan and execute the more complex and impactful initiatives at the bank. She is currently focused on a Sales Culture strategic initiative that includes Salesforce.com implementation as well as an initiative to grow the organization’s project management maturity and establish an Enterprise Project Management Office.
Sanders joined First Bank in 2014 with more than 10 years of experience in diverse and challenging environments ranging from combat operations in Afghanistan to program management and oversight in the Pentagon.

Prior to joining First Bank, Sanders served as a Senior Program Manager for the Information Systems Security Office at Scott Air Force Base and as a Senior Analyst for the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, Special Programs Office at the Pentagon.
In addition, Sanders has served in various leadership capacities for the US Army including Company Commander, Human Resources Officer, Operations Officer and Platoon Leader.

During her military service, Sanders received numerous honors and awards including the Army Commendation Medal; Meritorious Service Medal; Afghanistan Campaign Medal; Korea Defense Service Medal; and the Global War on Terrorism, Expeditionary Medal
Sanders has a BS from Marquette University in political science. She serves as a volunteer with the American Youth Foundation and Hawthorn Leadership School for Girls.
