Since its first anniversary back in 1979, Ben & Jerry’s
has shown its appreciation to loyal customers by spreading peace, love & ice cream around the
globe on Free Cone Day. Tomorrow
(Tuesday, April 8), Ben & Jerry’s in the U-City Loop will distribute free
ice cream cones to customers who visit between noon and 8 p.m. (no purchase
necessary). Donations made during the
day will benefit children of the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery and the agency’s
24-hour crisis care program. Four special
raffle drawings will be held at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Winners need not be present to win.
