The September exhibit in THE GALLERY of the University City Public Library (6701
Delmar Blvd, 63130) is an off-year Innovations in Textile event entitled
“Re-generation: revalued
techniques and materials”
featuring quilts and textile pieces using repurposed fabric, linens, and
threads by Sally Master and alternative photographic prints, Cyanotypes, and
Van Dyke Browns on paper and fabric by Emma Master. An opening reception for
the mother-daughter artists will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013, 5 - 7 pm
in THE GALLERY. The work is on display September 6 - 30 and may be viewed
during normal library hours, Monday – Friday, 9 am – 9 pm; Saturday, 9 am – 5
pm; and Sunday, 1 -5 pm.
