The Glory Pickers Perform at the Overland Farmers Market on July 11th

This Saturday the market also will host a Junk-A-Rama and Flea Market, with space available for $10.

The Glory Pickers, a popular old-time gospel bluegrass music group, will perform at The Overland Farmers Market in the City of Overland on Saturday, July 11, from 10 am to noon.

β€œWe are pleased to welcome The Glory Pickers because the group is popular with all kinds of audiences,” said Richard A. Kilzer, president of the Overland Farmers Market Board of Directors.

The Glory Pickers are well-known for their appearances at church events in Missouri and southwestern Illinois. Admission to The Overland Farmers Market is free. The Glory Pickers will perform its blend of Christian and bluegrass music at The Overland Farmers Market at 2512 Woodson Road about one mile north of Page Boulevard in St. Louis County.

The Overland Farmers Market attracts people seeking locally grown vegetables, fresh fruit and other produce, grass-fed beef, plus arts, crafts, jewelry and consumer goods. This Saturday the market also will host a Junk-A-Rama and Flea Market, with space available for $10.

β€œWe feature local growers and farmers,” said Mr. Kilzer. β€œThe majority of our vendors are local producers.”

The Overland Farmers Market is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization managed by volunteers and will be open every Saturday morning through late October. Admission to The Overland Farmers Market is free. More information is at http://www.overlandfarmersmarket.com/.
