The Hot Flashes All-Woman Rock Band Performs at Overland Farmers Market on Saturday September 3

Overland, Missouriβ¦ The popular, all-woman rock group known as βThe Hot Flashesβ will perform a free music show at The Overland Farmerβs Market on Saturday, September 3, from 10 a.m. to noon
βThe Hot Flashesβ are a treat, especially if you like great oldies music -- these ladies are terrific,β said Richard A. Kilzer, president of the Overland Farmerβs Market Board of Directors.
βThe Hot Flashesβ will perform their unique brand of pop, rock , ballads and blues from the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s at The Overland Farmers Market, in the 2500 block of Woodson Road about one mile north of Page Boulevard. Admission to The Overland Farmers Market is free.

The Overland Farmers Market is a popular destination for people seeking fresh, locally grown vegetables, fruit and produce, plus arts, crafts and consumer goods available from vendors in a festive market atmosphere. The Overland Farmerβs Market is open every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and will continue operating this year into late October.
βWe are committed to fostering local growers and farmers,β said Mr. Kilzer. βMost of our vendors are local producers of fruits, vegetables and bakery goods, in addition to vendors that offer arts and crafts.β

Now in its ninth successful year of operation, The Overland Farmers Market is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Vendors are welcome to apply for an application by calling (314) 769-6360 or by visiting the website http://www.overlandfarmersmarket.com/.
βThe Hot Flashesβ website http://www.thehotflashes.com/ refers to the members as βWomen Who Rock!β They have performed at many venues in metro St. Louis, from schools and churches to private parties, weddings, reunions and more. Several of the groupβs members started performing together years ago in a popular group called βThe Teen Queens,β which was considered St. Louisβ first all-girl rock band.
