How to identify root causes of stress and anxiety and how to lessen them.

Stress and anxiety play a significant role in your psychological and physical health both now and in the future.

As a psychotherapist, who specializes in women’s concerns stress and anxiety are reoccurring themes. You may be able to identify more obvious sources of anxiety. However, understanding how race, ethnicity, class and gender intersect may provide an, ”aha moment”. At that point, you will begin to really understand why you feel and behave as you do.

There are various ways to lessen stress and anxiety. A few methods that I find very helpful are, talk therapy, relaxation techniques, clinical hypnotherapy and writing. Depending on your individual needs, we may do a combination of therapies. Of course, I would educate and guide you. However, you would make the decisions about your own therapy.
