Job: High School Assistant Principal
Category: Full-time
Experience: Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or School Administration, doctorate preferred. Current Missouri secondary administration certificate or validated eligibility by July 1, 2012. Three years of teaching experience and two years of previous administrative leadership in a diverse public high school is a plus. A successful administrative history of visionary instructional leadership, conducting performance-based evaluations, pursuing alternative funding sources, budgeting, staffing, employee relations and fostering productive relationships with parents, patrons, students and the community is essential.
Responsibilities: The administrator selected for this position must be student focused and prepared to become an integral part of a new administrative team dedicated to supporting an enriching academic climate, improved achievement, and quality instruction.
Salary: Minimum salary of $85,000, commensurate with experience and credentials. Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as graduate tuition reimbursement.
