Legal Services of Eastern Missouri's Dan Glazier Elected to Key Post

Legal Services of Eastern Missouri's Dan Glazier has been elected Midwest Representative for National Legal Aid & Defender Association.

Legal Services of Eastern Missouri’s (LSEM) Dan Glazier has been elected Midwest Representative for the National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA). National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA) is America’s oldest and largest nonprofit association devoted to excellence in the delivery of legal services to those who cannot afford counsel. Glazier, who serves at LSEM’s Executive Director and General Counsel, was elected to a three-year term. Named LSEM’s Executive Director in 2005, Glazier joined the non-profit organization as a Reginald Heber Smith (Reggie) Fellow in the Welfare Law Unit in 1981. Since that time, Glazier has served in a variety of leadership roles for LSEM including co-managing attorney of the Housing Unit from 1998 to 2005. Glazier lives in University City, Missouri. Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM) has provided high quality legal assistance in civil cases to the low-income community for more than 50 years. In 2013, LSEM helped nearly 15,000 people (including clients and their household members) in 21 counties of eastern Missouri.
