• Movies in the Park — Goonies will be shown at dusk in Heman Park. This is the final movie in the 2012 series and the viewer's choice pick.

Sunday, Oct. 14

• Flynn Park Playground Dedication — Join the city for a celebration commemorating a community colloborative to fund and rebuild the playground at Flynn Park. There will be food, fun and a small program to include the official dedication. The event will be held from 5-7 p.m.
