I support Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal for U.S. Congress.
I have had the pleasure of watching her work as both a State Senator and as a member of the School Board for the University City School District. I found no one more outspoken in doing what is right for young people than Senator Chappelle-Nadal.
Senator Chappelle-Nadal did not hesitate to question administrators or teachers about what was best for students. She challenged the status quo in teaching students. She sought the justification for the way schools operated and the way teachers instructed the students. She always, I mean always, looked out for the best interest of the students.
I support Senator Chappelle-Nadal for Congress because I know she cares. I observe her with students from the primary grades to the seniors in high school. She reached out to them, to teach and inspire them. She showed she cared for what they thought and what they believed in. She let them know that she was making the decisions on the School Board and at the State Capitol to support them. I sat in on many conversations she has had with older students and her support for those students was amazing. 
What I observed about Senator Chappelle-Nadal is her faith and diligence in fighting for what is right for people. She constantly demonstrated that on the University City School Board, as a State Senator, and as a community member working with young people. I find her to be an amazing legislator in her persistence in doing what is right for the people. I support her because of her strength in character, her leadership and her conviction in always doing and demanding what is right.
