Meet Chamber President Matt Beaver with Edward Jones

As an Edward Jones financial advisor, Matt believes it is important to invest his time to understand what his clients are working toward before investing their money. Working closely with clients, their CPAs, attorneys, and other professionals, Matt helps his clients determine the most appropriate financial strategy for their future and their families. Matt helps clients plan a retirement savings strategy so you have more options when you retire, regardless of what you decide to do.

 Matt has a bachelor’s degree in Finance and International business from St. Louis. University, and in 2008 Matt earned a master’s degree in business from Washington University in St. Louis.

 Relationships are key to what Matt does, and meeting face to face helps him build strong relationships with his clients and their families. Matt will meet when it’s convenient for his clients because he recognizes the challenging needs of their business and their lives.

 Matt specializes in community development through his active involvement in the advisory committee of the Mission St. Louis Job membership development program.  The program  takes men off the streets or out of the prisons system and helps them find employment.

 An active member of the community, Matt is currently the President of the University City Chamber of Commerce and has been the Volunteer Chair for Fair U City. Matt is also on the Jobs for Life Advisory Committee through mission St. Louis, as well as an active member of a local church.
