Operation Food Search (OFS), a non-profit hunger relief organization, recently celebrated its 40-year partnership with Schnuck Markets, Inc. The event included Schnucks’ corporate teams volunteering at the agency to pack boxes of food donations. Thanksgiving meal kits for area families were created and then distributed to OFS’s community partner agencies. All of the packed food products were purchased and delivered by Schnucks.

During this 40-year partnership that began before OFS was incorporated, Schnucks has donated more than $160 million worth of product. Schnucks’ participation accounts for 53% of OFS’s distribution during 2019.

“We truly value our ongoing relationship with Schnucks,” said OFS’s Executive Director Kristen Wild. “They enable us to feed those who would go without, and we are forever grateful for this partnership that has continued to thrive over the past four decades.”
