Operation Food Search Director of Child & Family Nutrition Programs Brian Wieher will serve as a presenter and speaker at the 33rd National CACFP Sponsor Association (NCA) in Chicago, IL from April 23 through 25. NCA is the leading national organization for sponsors who administer the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

Brian Wieher, Director of Child & Family Nutrition, will serve as a presenter and speaker at numerous sessions including “At Risk-Afterschool Meals: Rebranding Supper as a ‘Super Snack’”, “Nuts and Bolts of Planning a Successful Mobile Meals Operation”, and “Growing Stronger Sustainable Year Round Programs.”

Founded in 1981, Operation Food Search (OFS) is a hunger relief organization that provides food and nutrition education. With a strategic focus aimed at ending childhood hunger, OFS empowers families with a range of programs and services proven to reduce food insecurity and increase access to healthy and affordable food. The agency helps feed more than 200,000 individuals on a monthly basis – one-third of which are children – through a network of 330 community partners in 31 Missouri and Illinois counties.
