Overland Farmers Market Offers Free Zumba Class on Saturday May 28

The Market will be open or shine from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

May 27, 2016, Overland, Missouri…Early arrivals at the Overland Farmers Market on Saturday, May 28, are welcome to participate in a free Zumba fitness class from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Market pavilion located at 2512 Woodson Road in Overland about one mile north of Page Avenue.

Now in its ninth successful season, the Market’s covered pavilion has 24 stalls where local vendors offer fresh produce, locally raised grass-fed beef, sweet Missouri honey and fresh-bakery goods, plus original arts, crafts, and live music.

The Market will be open or shine from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Tamara Choir will perform from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on May 28.

β€œWe’re are popular with people who love fresh, locally grown produce and merchandise you can’t find anywhere else,” said Richard A. Kilzer, president of the Overland Farmers Market Board of Directors.

β€œOur covered pavilion built by the City of Overland has electrical service for every stall and makes our market more accommodating for visitors and vendors.”

β€œVisitors can park beside the pavilion in our free parking lot, and vendors can load and unload their goods easily by backing up next to their covered stall,” Kilzer said.
