Overland Farmers Market Will Rock with Rick Spier Band on June 2

The Market will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 pm at 2512 Woodson Road near Erickson Plaza, about one mile north of Page Avenue.

Overland, Missouri…The Overland Farmers Market will offer plenty of fresh, locally produced vegetables, organic beef, bakery products, arts & crafts and live music on Saturday, June 2 at 2512 Woodson Road in Overland.

The Market will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 pm at 2512 Woodson Road near Erickson Plaza, about one mile north of Page Avenue.

The Rick Spier Band, a popular classic rock power trio, will perform from 10 a.m. to noon.

β€œWe’re known for fresh, local produce, home-made bakery goods, hot sandwiches and merchandise you can’t find anywhere else,” said Richard A. Kilzer, president of the Overland Farmers Market Board of Directors.

β€œWe provide live music from different musicians every Saturday – folk, rock, gospel or bluegrass,” Kilzer said. β€œOur Market is like a friendly neighborhood party,” he added.

β€œOur covered pavilion with 24 covered stalls makes our market more accommodating for visitors and vendors.”

β€œVisitors and vendors can park beside the pavilion for free parking lot. Vendors can load and unload easily by backing up next to their covered stall, all of which have electricity,” Kilzer said.

The Overland Farmers Market is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization managed by volunteers and supported by sponsors including individuals, merchants and the City of Overland. Admission is free.
