University City resident Greg Pace found a $27 million mistake in the city's numbers.
One official acknowledged "growing pains" β including the possible use of eminent domain β but implored citizens to understand and forgive.

One citizen asked for a referendum on the Olive/170 project, but the city manager said he wouldn't recommend that expense to the council.

"University City residents are underwriting the higher education of Washington University students," councilmember Tim Cusick said.
The city held a neighborhood meeting Tuesday night, but it's not clear how much of the feedback will be incorporated into the agreement.
