POWERS Insurance And Benefits Announces Promotions

POWERS Insurance and Benefits’ CEO Pierce Powers recently announced the promotions of both his son and daughter at their family-owned and operated company. Their appointments coincide with the company’s 24th anniversary.

University City resident JD Powers was promoted to company President, and Elizabeth Powers was promoted to Director of Agency Development.

JD’s responsibilities include managing the company’s daily operations and future growth. Additional tasks involve developing the organization’s vision and implementing the procedures to accomplish its goals. JD will be an integral resource with new business solicitation, as well as ongoing communication enhancement between the company and its existing clients. Prior to his promotion, JD served as the company’s risk management advisor.

Elizabeth’s responsibilities include overseeing all strategic marketing efforts in terms of attracting and retaining clientele. She also will ensure the company’s productivity by monitoring the hiring of new agents. Prior to this position, she served as a sales and marketing representative at the company.

“My dream was to start a company where I could one day work alongside my children, and that time is truly here,” said Pierce Powers. “JD and Elizabeth have both worked very hard to get to this point, and I am so very proud of all their accomplishments.
