Psychologist & Author Dory Hollander of University City Has Died
Dory Hollander grew up in University City. Her family tells the St. Louis Post Dispatch that she died Thursday after a 3-year battle with endometrial cancer. She was 69.

Dory Hollander, a psychologist and author who grew up in University City has died at 69 after a three-year battle with endometrial cancer, according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch.
Her book "101 Lies Men Tell Women — and Why Women Believe Them," made her a popular TV and radio guest during the fallout of President Bill Clinton's affair with intern Monica Lewinsky.
Hollander graduated from University City High School in 1959 and earned her undergraduate degree at Washington University reports the Post.

She is the mother of two grown children, according to her biography on the website WiseWorkplaces.
