Retraining Your Brain

Women wonder why losing weight or stopping smoking is difficult to accomplish.

I teach clients that any behavior which is learned can be unlearned. My practice is comprised primarily of women. Therefore, I will speak to the way women process issues in their lives.

Often, women ask how long it will take to change a behavior. Such as, smoking, eating patterns or anxiety. It takes approximately twenty one days to develop new behavior patterns. That is less than one months time. This is only an approximation. However, we are all capable of making desired behavior changes. By changing our thought patterns, we change how we feel and that changes our behavior(s).
