Rime of the Ancient Mariner – April 10-19, 2015 (non-profit)

Upstream Theater opens Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s Rime of the Ancient Mariner, adapted for the stage and directed by Patrick Siler. With live music composed and performed by St. Louis’ own stellar indie rock band Sleepy Kitty. Coleridge’s epic poem tells of a fantastical sea-journey and takes us on a voyage of our own deep into the soul of a troubled sailor in search of redemption for a sin he committed. A moving rumination on the sanctity of nature and our responsibility to our environment.
