
RubinBrown recently named local Ballwin resident Jeffrey Spark, CPA, to partner. John Herber, CPA, managing partner, made the announcement.
Jeffrey Sparks is a partner in RubinBrown’s Assurance Services Group, working with public and privately held organizations and specializing in the manufacturing and distribution industries. He also provides audit service for employee benefit plans. Before joining RubinBrown in 2004, he was an intern at RubinBrown as well as PricewaterhouseCoopers. He participated in the Baker Tilly International Exchange Program in 2006 and 2010, working for Staples Roadway in Auckland, New Zealand and Collins Barrow in Toronto, Canada. In Toronto, he focused on transitioning companies from Canadian GAAP to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Sparks holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Miami University-Oxford, OH. He was recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal as part of its 2010 30 Under 30 Class and, in 2008, received RubinBrown’s Community Service Award as an emerging leader. He is a member of the board of trustees for the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, is president of its Young Professional Division, and a member of its Montefiore Society and Ben-Gurion Society. He also serves on the board of the Jewish Community Relations Council.
