"It's just a very exciting time," said Flynn Park Elementary Principal DeAun Blumberg. "Our building has been transformed, not just physically, but we have new students coming from Delmar-Harvard, we have new teachers in the building."

Flynn Park has all new kindergarten classrooms. Also, the school built an addition which now houses a new cafeteria. That freed up space for a multi-purpose room.

"That's (mutli-purpose room) going to be really nice because if we have bad weather it means that we have a place to take kids so they can actually run around," said Blumberg.
