Hand fabricated sterling sliver jewelry set with Japanese Chiyogami papers which are protected by a thin waterproof layer of resin. Incredibly ornate these papers are used rather than traditional gemstones. Magnets and Pins, Artist Kaeko Maehata resides in St. Louis, Missouri
Kaeko Maehata wastes nothing in her studio. Using clippings left over from making bowls, vases and other art pieces, Maehata constructs magnets and pins using intricate processes. Rods of glass are fused together then twisted. After they are put together, they are twisted yet again making these lovely and amazing pins and magnets. Retail: $10.

Hats, Gloves, Mittens and Scarves by Venus Imports, Inc.
Hand-knitted with 100 percent wool and/or 100 percent recycled Sari silk in Kathmandu, Nepal and Venus. Knitters who work from their own homes make these products and are paid above the fair trade standards. Retail: Scarf $26, Gloves $14, Mittens $16, Hat $18.
