Two Charged in Police Chase That Ended on Skinker

The crash began in North St. Louis and ended with a crash at Skinker and Forest Park Parkway.

Two men have been charged following a police chase that ended in a crash Wednesday on Skinker Blvd, tying up rush hour traffic.

KSDK reports that the two suspects are both charged on several counts. Quoting from the KSDK story:

  • Eric Hayes, 21, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and two counts of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident. His bond is set at $40,000.
  • Kevon Hayes, 20, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, and resisting/interfering with arrest. He is held on a $30,000 cash-only bond.

The two suspects were caught Wednesday after a police pursuit ended in a crash.

The pursuit started around 3 p.m. Wednesday at Benton and N. Jefferson, Fox 2 reports, and ended at Forest Park and Skinker.
