The amnesty program is run by Better Family Life, a non‐profit community development corporation dedicated to the prosperity and growth of the American family. The group started the amnesty program in 2002 as a one day event to help citizens clear their records of outstanding traffic related warrants. In 2010, the program was expanded to include all misdemeanor warrants.
