The School District of University City’s Human Resources Department is hosting a speed-recruiting event for all interested teachers on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, 5:30-7 p.m. at Blueberry Hill, located at 6504 Delmar in the Loop (63130).

Teacher recruitment in preparation for the 2018-19 school year is on going and competition for the best and brightest has never been stronger.

Tiffany Slater, assistant superintendent of Human Resources explained, β€œWe have aggressive and clearly defined education goals and we acknowledge the importance of acquiring amazing teachers to forward those goals and teach our talented students. It’s also important that interviewing is not a one-sided process. Both parties must actively choose each other. That’s how we decided to invite candidates to participate in an exciting and welcoming speed-dating format.”
