UCHS Students Receive National Merit/Achievement Recognition
Students qualify for National Merit and National Achievement recognition, based on scores received as juniors from the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT).

Five University City High School seniors have been honored through the National Merit and National Achievement Scholarship Corporations.
Alex Yentumi has been named a National Achievement Semi-Finalist. The academic competition recognizes outstanding Black American high school students, and provides scholarship opportunities.
Luke Babich and Joseph Egan have been named semi-finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program. Both now have an opportunity to continue in the competition for scholarships. Daniel Egan and Samuel Katz have been named National Merit Commended Scholars.

Students qualify for National Merit and National Achievement recognition, based on scores received as juniors from the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT). From those scores, students can be honored as an outstanding participant, commended scholar or semi-finalist. Students named as semi-finalists in the fall may advance to finalist status as determined by national judges. Finalists are announced in the spring.
