University City Author Holds Book Signing

University City resident Susan Rava signed her memoir on Alzheimer's at the University City Library Monday night.

It was a packed house Monday night for longtime University City resident book signing at the . Rava penned a memoir about Alzheimer's disease called Swimming Solo. The book deals with her experience of watching Alzheimer's disease claim the lives of both her parents and her husband’s parents as well. Subterranean Books' owner Kelly von Plonski brought 61 books for Rava to sign. They sold out quickly.
