UrbanFUTURE Wants YOU! Call for Mentors and Tutors! Just ONE day a week, ONE hour a week!

Looking for a way to be involved in your
community?  UrbanFUTURE is looking for your help!



UrbanFUTURE is dedicated to the success of urban
youth (grades 6th - 8th) through character formation, academic growth, and career preparation
programs. The organization functions within the school (St. Louis Public Schools) while engaging the home
and involving the community to create a strong foundation supporting the
student for maximum academic and personal growth. UrbanFUTURE provides mentoring,
tutoring, and enrichment programs for students in order for them to reach their
full potential.


Volunteer Commitment:



Mentors:  partner with parents and teachers
to focus on literacy,   character development, and goal-setting.
 Plus, weekly conversations with parent and staff.  Mentor ONE day a week (Monday - Thursday), just ONE hour (4:30pm - 5:30pm).

Tutors:  work individually or in small
groups with students on academic skills such as reading, writing, and
mathematics. Tutor ONE day a week (Monday - Thursday), just ONE hour (4:30pm-5:30pm).
