Women and Weight

Are You Living the Life You Want?

As a psychotherapist, who treats young, middle aged and older women struggling with weight issues I have learned that it is really how we feel (anxious, depressed, lonely) that fuels our weight struggles.

Low self-esteem may be reflected in those with weight issues. Whether I see college students, professional women, stay at home moms or older adults, low self-esteem plays a significant role in weight struggles. No one wakes up in the morning and says I can't wait to struggle with weight for years to come. However, time passes and that is exactly what occurs for many of us.

If you are struggling with weight, low-self esteem, anxiety, depression or anything else that is interfering with your life please give me a call at 314-920-0803. I would like to see how I may help. You may find out more at www.anitadcohntherapy.com
