• Child dies, two are injured in Interstate 64 crash (kttn.com) — A 6-year-old boy from Wentzville died and two other Wentzville residents were injured when their minivan left westbound Interstate 64 near I-70 in St. Charles County and hit a utility pole Sunday evening. All three were properly restrained and transported to area hospitals, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Major Crash Investigation Unit is handling the investigation.
   

• Helen Aubuchon (1936–2026) of Jerseyville, IL (riverbender.com) — An 89-year-old woman passed away Thursday at Cedarhurst Senior Living in Wentzville, where she spent her final days surrounded by a strong legacy of faith and family. Services and burial will be held in Jerseyville, Illinois, and her family is inviting memorials to the St. Vincent DePaul Society in her honor.
