Camp Kickflip Teaches Kids Skateboarding Tricks

Week-long summer camp teaches skateboarding techniques and prepares kids for Skatefest 2011.

Camp Kickflip is a week-long camp at Dardenne Prairie's Youth Activity Park that teaches kids who already know the basics of skateboarding to do tricks.

Parents pay $80 for their kids to learn skateboard techniques like ollies, pop-shoves, and kick flips. Between six and 11 children attended the camp this week.

Some of the kids in Camp Kickflip may enter at Youth Activity Park on Saturday, Aug. 13.
