Corey Brown Pleads 'Guilty,' Sentencing Date Set
Brown was charged last December with ten felony counts of statutory rape and child molestation of two Lake Saint Louis girls.

Corey Lane Brown, who was charged in December 2010 with ten felony charges of statutory rape, sodomy and child molestation in the case of two Lake Saint Louis children, ages 8 and 9, has changed his plea to "guilty."
Sentencing has been scheduled for 9 a.m., Sept. 29. at St Charles County Circuit Court, located at 300 North Second St. in St. Charles.

According to the original report by Detective Bret Carbray of the, Brown, age 45, had admitted to a social worker during a Dec. 9 hospital visit that he had been "sexually imappropriate" with two children. On that same date, when Carbray was serving an order of protection to Brown in the hospital, Brown "stated that he was guilty and wanted to talk about what he had done."
Brown admitted that his contact with the older child dated back to 2007. Carbray's report said that Brown had committed "234 counts of Statutory Sodomy 1st, 234 counts of Child Molestation 1st and 2 counts of Statutory Rape 1st." Brown's contact with the younger child dated from July 1, 2010, and included 34 counts of statutory sodomy and 34 counts of child molestation.
